Neutrophil extracellular traps as markers of thromboinflammation in the pathogenesis of female genital tract and breast malignant neoplasms

Introduction. Thrombosis is a formidable complication of the oncological process that still profoundly contributes to overall mortality despite anticoagulant use. According recent data, thrombosis in cancer represents special type prothrombotic state, wherein thromboinflammationis one its constituents. In addition, thromboinflammation both disease progression and intensity metastasis processes. Recently, large number studies worldwide have been devoted investigating patients. Aim: assess NETosis activity (the neutrophils extracellular traps synthesis), namely, concentration citrullinated histone H3 (citH3) as blood plasma marker women with malignant genital organs breast neoplasms. Materials Мethods. The prospective observational controlled non-randomized study included 45 patients (main group) neoplasms uterus body, ovaries, cervix (adenocarcinoma cervical canal) mammary glands admitted hospital for planned surgical treatment (13, 15, 5 13 patients, respectively) 33 benign gland (control group). citН3 was determined using an enzyme immunoassay. Results. It found had significantly increased (1.434–2.058 ng/ml) compared control group (0.281–0.371 ng/ml). citH3 tumors uterine body ranged from 2.271 2.992 ng/ml, ovarian – 1.357 2.123 0.331 0.859 ng/ml. revealed no significant differences group. Upon elevating concentration, such parameters C-reactive protein, D-dimer, platelets count, well neutrophils/lymphocytes ratio were increased. Significant platelet count main (236,68–273,77×109/L) vs. (178,14–202,35×109/L). Conclusion. demonstrated activation (adenocarcinoma) ovaries might be combined hemostasis systemic inflammatory response.
